Former Athlete Turned Youth Advocate

As a member of the volleyball team at The University of Texas, I was a two-time All-Conference selection. Alongside my athletic experience, I earned a BS in Education and an MA in Sport Management. I’ve taught in elementary classrooms and worked in academic support for a D1 athletics program. Today, I serve as an academic advisor for future educators and health professionals.
Through it all, I’ve remained committed to helping young people learn, grow, and thrive in environments shaped by positive adult support.
My life in sport has taken me from youth leagues in Omaha, Nebraska to competing for a National Championship as a Texas Longhorn. I know firsthand what it feels like to play under bright lights, with big expectations, and the watchful eyes of parents, coaches, and teammates.
As a young athlete, I saw both the joy and the pressure that youth sports can bring. These early experiences gave me a deep understanding of how adult influence can shape an athlete’s confidence, mindset, and path.

“Let our children see us rooting for growth in their sport and growth in their character.”
As a parent, I’ve embraced a self-directed approach to learning and living. My family prioritizes curiosity, autonomy, and meaningful connection. The same values that guide my work with families.
When parents can be thoughtful about how they show up, the experience becomes richer, more grounded, and far more rewarding.
For everyone!
